This council leads the construction, consolidation and operation of the Independent and Intercultural Indigenous Health System (SISPI) in local, zonal and nationwide context. Another duty is to protect, strengthen and recognize the practice of ancestral medicine as a transversal axis, in charge of guiding the components of the Intercultural Indigenous Health System (SISPI).
